Constellation Brands is one of the largest groups producing alcoholic beverages and has a turnover of over $7 billion. This group was primarily focused on the wine sector until recent years before investing in the beer and spirits sector which has become prevalent in the overall business.
In the wine sector Constellation Brands is one of the 3 main US groups, together with E.&J. Gallo and The Wine Group. Currently the wine sector has a turnover of over $ 1.7 Billion and accounts for 17-18% of consolidated revenue, while in 2014 the share was 52% with revenues of $2,383 million and in 2010 it was over 85% with revenues of over $2,900 million. PERNOD RICARD (FRA)Pernod Ricard is one of the largest groups in the alcoholic beverages sector with revenue over € 12 Billion, with a significant activity in the wine sector with a still wine division, Pernod Richard Winemakers, and a Champagne Division with brands Mumm e Perrier-Jouet.
Pernod Richard Winemakers division operates in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Spain with the brands Kenwood, Brancott Estate, Campo Viejo, Jacob's Creek, sells 11.6 million cases, a total of approximately 140 million 750 ml bottles and a turnover which can be estimated close to € 500 million.
The champagne division, in 2016, had a turnover near € 270 millions, made by € 120 million (228 employees) by Mumm e € 145 millions (65 employees) del marchio Perrier-Jouet.

Davide Campari is an important group in the spirits sector with a total turnover of over € 2.9 Billion which also operates in the wine sector in the sparkling wine category with the brands Cinzano, Mondoro, Riccadonna and Champagne Lallier with a turnover of 3% of the group's total revenues, equal to approximately € 70-80 million. Previously, the group had a greater presence and activity in the wine sector with the control of important brands in the still wine category such as Sella & Mosca, Enrico Serafino, Teruzzi & Puthod which were sold in the last two years to focus only on the spirits sector and to a marginal extent in sparkling wines.
