AMBRA Group It is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of wines in Central and Eastern Europe.
It operates on four markets: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Almost 80% of the revenues are gained in Poland. The share of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is about 7%. The Romanian market has an approx. 14%, in the AMBRA Group sales.
Over 60% of our revenues come from sales of still and sparkling wines.
With the potential of capital, competence and resources of an international wine concern, the strategy of AMBRA Group is focused on acquiring and developing the position of leader in major wines and spirits markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
Among its brands there are CIN&CIN, DORATO, EL SOL, FRESCO, PLISKA, PICCOLO, the most popular cider in Poland - CYDR LUBELSKI and the youngest brand WINIARNIA ZAMOJSKA. They are sales leaders in their market segments and a huge capital of trust that consumers have been placing in us for years.
CENTRUM WINA / DISTLLERS LIMITED is acting in its structure as a specialised distributor of wines at a price above PLN 20 (fine wines) as well as premium spirits for catering, individual consumers and businesses.
Ambra delivers products to shops, distribution networks and wholesalers. The company serves more than 1,500 restaurants and under the name of CENTRUM WINA / DISTILLERS LIMITED it runs the chain of 34 wine stores offering more than 500 types of wines from over 50 regions around the world as well as a wide range of premium spirits.
The company is the exclusive distributor in Poland for many world famous wine producers. It represents as many as 7 out of 11 prestigious wine families associated in the Primum Familiae Vini.
Ambra has its own production plant in Wola Duża near Biłgoraj, where, owing to the latest technology and under the most rigorous quality requirements, it produces almost 40 million bottles of wine and other products annually.
The company is participated by the German company Schloss Wachenheim AG, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. This creates a joint purchasing group in terms of wine production materials and technologies.

AMBRA specialises in the production and distribution of wine since 1994. In the same year, the Company also gained the industry investor - Sektkellerei Schloss Wachenheim AG (“SSW” - currently known as Schloss Wachenheim AG) took over 25% of shares as part of an increase in the share capital.
In 1995 Ambra achieved the position of sparkling wines market leader. In 1998 it acquired the CIN&CIN brand. In 2003 it opened a new chapter entering the markets of Central and Eastern Europe. AMBRA acquired majority stakes in Soare Sekt a.s. (Czech Republic), Karom Drinks s.r.l. (Romania). A year later it expanded the Group by PH Vinex Slaviantsi Poland Sp. z o.o., a distributor of Bulgarian wines.
In 2005 Ambra entered the the Warsaw Stock Exchange earning PLN 57 million for further development of the Group.
In 2012 CENTRUM WINA merged into AMBRA S.A..
In 2019 Ambra created a new brand of fruit wine: WINIARNIA ZAMOJSKA.
